Sarasota pool service, done the way the keys taught us.
Sarasota is the city we built Sundays Pools out of. Owner Samuel Michaels grew up coming to the Gulf Coast on summer trips, returned home after eight years on celebrity pools in Beverly Hills, and started this company specifically to serve the Sarasota market the way the high-end West Coast crews served Hollywood Hills. Same standards. Same photo-report-every-visit accountability. The difference is we close on Sundays so our crew can have a real day off, and customers seem to like that we tell them so out loud.
Sarasota itself is one of the more challenging pool service markets on the Gulf Coast, in a quietly technical way. The water out here is harder than most of Florida (calcium hardness regularly testing above 350 ppm in the keys), the salt air on the coast eats equipment faster than inland, the housing stock spans new construction in Palmer Ranch through 1960s plaster pools downtown, and the population is split between full-time residents and snowbirds. A good Sarasota pool service company has to handle all of that. We do.

Coastal Sarasota equipment (Lido, Longboat, Siesta) lives shorter than inland equipment. We add salt-air-specific watch points to the weekly visit on coastal pools and recommend equipment upgrades sooner than the manufacturer's published lifespans.
Schedule a check →What Sarasota pool owners actually deal with
Sarasota's pool service quirks are different from the rest of the Gulf Coast in three specific ways.
Hard water is the rule, not the exception.
Calcium hardness in Sarasota tap water typically runs 250 to 350 ppm at the source. Pools that have not been refreshed in years can hit 600 ppm. High calcium hardness scales salt cells faster, fouls heater elements faster, and stains plaster surfaces. We test calcium hardness on every weekly visit and recommend a partial drain (or full drain-and-acid-wash) when the number gets out of hand.
Salt-air corrosion is real and it is fast.
Coastal Sarasota pools (Lido Key, Longboat Key, Siesta Key, downtown waterfront) live in a salt-air environment that takes equipment lifespan down by roughly 30 percent compared to inland communities like The Meadows or Palmer Ranch. We mention this on every install quote in those zip codes so customers can plan their replacement cycle realistically.
The housing stock is older than people think.
Plenty of Sarasota pools were built in the 1970s and 1980s and have only been resurfaced once. By 2026, plenty of plaster surfaces in Gulf Gate, Arlington Park, downtown, and the older parts of South Sarasota are at end-of-life. Acid wash works on three to five of those surfaces over a pool's life; replaster comes after that. We tell you honestly which side your pool is on.

Common Sarasota pool service questions
Do you service Siesta Key and Lido Key pools?
Yes. Coastal pools are part of our weekly route. We add salt-air-specific equipment notes to the visit report on these pools and recommend more frequent equipment inspections than the inland default, because the lifespan is shorter.
Can you handle older Sarasota pools that haven't been resurfaced?
Yes. We run a lot of weekly service on pools that are 30 to 50 years old, with plaster dating to the 1970s or 1980s. The honest answer on these pools depends on the surface condition, which we assess in person before quoting. Some get a chemistry-led recovery, some get an acid wash, and some are at the point where a replaster makes more sense.
Do you offer monthly billing for Sarasota snowbirds?
Yes. We have customers who are in residence November through April and away the rest of the year. We adjust the weekly visit cadence to a maintenance schedule while you are away (chemistry checks weekly, vacuuming as needed) and resume full service when you return. The visit reports email to you the same way regardless of season.
Will you work with my high-rise condo's pool maintenance team?
We are a residential service. Larger condo and HOA-managed community pools are a different operation than what we do; we focus on single-family pools and small-amenity pools.
How fast can you respond to a Sarasota pool repair call?
Most Sarasota repair calls get an in-person diagnostic within 24 hours. Emergencies (electrical short, no flow, major leak) are usually same-day. The diagnostic visit is $65 flat, credited toward the repair if you book the work.
Other Gulf Coast service areas
We run the same weekly route across the Sarasota and Manatee county corridor.
