Terms of service
Last updated: April 28, 2026
These terms govern services provided by Sundays Pools, LLC ("Sundays Pools," "we," "us") to you ("customer," "you") in Florida. By scheduling a service visit, signing up for weekly service, or accepting a written quote from us, you agree to these terms.
Services we provide
We provide residential and small-commercial pool service in Sarasota, Bradenton, Venice, North Port, and Lakewood Ranch, Florida. Services include weekly pool maintenance, green-to-clean algae recovery, pool acid wash, equipment repair, and equipment installation. The specific service you receive is described in your written quote, your weekly-service onboarding email, or both.
Pricing
Quotes for repairs, installs, and acid wash are written estimates based on what we observe at the diagnostic visit or site survey. They are valid for 30 days from issue. If something unexpected is uncovered during the work (a hidden leak, rotten plumbing under a slab, an out-of-spec part), we stop and call you with a revised estimate before continuing.
Weekly service pricing is provided through the instant quote on our website or by phone. The monthly price is set at onboarding and remains the same unless your pool circumstances change materially (new equipment installed that we now maintain, a major change in tree cover, etc.). We give 30 days written notice before any price change.
The $65 first-visit fee (diagnostic, site assessment, or site survey) is credited toward booked work. If you decline to book, the $65 covers the visit and the written report you receive.
Payment
Weekly service is billed on the first of each month, payable by credit card, ACH, or check. Repairs, installs, and acid wash are billed on completion, payable on the same terms. Past-due accounts (more than 30 days from invoice) may be paused on service until current.
Cancellation
You can cancel weekly service at any time, with no contract and no cancellation fee. We bill month to month. Cancellations made before the first of the month take effect that month; cancellations after the first take effect the following month. Repairs and installs cannot be cancelled once equipment has been ordered or work has begun, except by mutual agreement.
Warranty
Weekly service. If your water is not swim-ready by Saturday during a recovery, we come back at no extra charge until it is. The Sundays Promise applies to green-to-clean recoveries and runs through 30 days against algae rebound.
Repairs. Every repair we perform carries a one-year parts-and-labor warranty. If the same component fails inside 12 months, we return and repair it at no charge. The warranty does not cover damage caused by storms, lightning, vandalism, freezing, chemistry imbalance caused by another party, or normal wear of consumables.
Equipment installs. Every install carries a one-year Sundays installer warranty. If the install fails inside 12 months, we redo it free. New equipment also carries the manufacturer's separate warranty, which we register at install. Customer-supplied equipment installs carry a 90-day installer warranty rather than 12 months.
Acid wash. The work itself is warranted against errors in the wash process for 30 days. Plaster condition after acid wash is a function of the underlying plaster age, prior wash history, and chemistry maintained by the customer. Acid wash cannot be warranted to "make a pool look new" if the underlying plaster is at end of life, and we will tell you that at the assessment.
Limitation of liability
Sundays Pools is licensed and insured in Florida and carries general liability insurance. To the fullest extent allowed by Florida law, our total liability for any claim arising out of services rendered is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service in question. We are not responsible for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including lost use of the pool, lost rental revenue, or damage to property caused by acts of nature. Nothing in this clause limits liability for personal injury caused by our negligence or willful misconduct.
Access and safety
You agree to provide reasonable access to the pool and equipment pad on scheduled service days, including unlocking gates or providing a code or key. You agree to keep pets contained or notify us in advance. We are not responsible for damage caused by inaccessible equipment, locked gates, or undisclosed hazards. We will not service pools that present a safety hazard to our technicians (electrical exposure, structural failure, contaminated water beyond green-to-clean) until the hazard is resolved.
Photos and reports
We take photos of your pool during service visits and include them in the visit report we email you. We may also use anonymized photos (no addresses, no identifying details) on our website, in marketing materials, or on social media. If you prefer your pool not be used in marketing materials, tell us in writing and we will exclude it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of these terms or the services provided will be resolved in the courts of Manatee County or Sarasota County, Florida.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page tells you when. Material changes will be sent to active customers by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
